A lot is happening at EA and BioWare. With the recent news that Anthem is getting a complete overhaul, fans of the studio have one more reason to get excited about. Rumors have it that a new Mass Effect Game is in development. Kotaku reports that development is in its very early stages at BioWare’s Edmonton office under director Mike Gamble, a longtime BioWare producer.

Mike Gamble is a veteran at BioWare. He was involved in the development of Mass Effect 2 and 3 as well as Andromeda. He was also the lead producer for Anthem. In a recent tweet he teased fans of the Mass Effect series by asking them where they want the game to go in the future.

That is not the only hint that spurs rumors though. BioWare’s general manager Casey Hudson teased a new Mass Effect game just a couple of hours earlier, saying they have so many more stories to tell for Mass Effect.

And back in 2018, Hudson already teased a new Mass Effect in the studio’s video for the 2018 N7 day:

N7 means coming to the studio every day, dreaming what the next Mass Effect game will be.
